OUSD Expanded Learning Programs

We keep it simple and silly as kids draw with easy to follow, step by step instructions. Students will quickly learn how to draw all sorts of different cartoons. They will learn basic cartooning skills and how to bring inanimate objects to life and as well as bringing silly personalities to everyday living creatures. Students will also learn each day more about what they are drawing. Subjects vary each session and class. From sea creatures to geometric shapes the opportunities are endless; including the fun!

Each student is able to build and program their own ROBO X1 robot, and discover a world of engineering, coding and creativity! ROBO X1 can be programmed using on-board push button commands without the need for a computer! Students learn to instruct their bots to navigate obstacle courses, complex mazes and much more, all while applying simple math skills! Students also create and invent as they customize ROBO X1 with LEGO building blocks and more. Students even learn about electronic circuits and components, such as capacitors, resistors, and more!

This program, designed for beginners and seasoned players , offers a learning experience that combines a new and engaging lesson each session, friendly gameplay, and opportunities to build new friendships! The best part? The program culminates in an exciting tournament where students can showcase their newfound skills and compete for amazing prizes! WeBreak teaches breaking techniques, principles and values to our students through our own proprietary curriculum. We foster and promote proper techniques, self confidence, discipline, self-expression, teamwork, and health & fitness.
